Introduction
My favorite part about teaching voice lessons is watching the student grow and develop over time. Most students enter my studio unsure of what will happen, and a little down the road, they have a few break-through moments that make them smile and excited for what is to come. I love to experience my students gaining confidence in finding their voice.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is fairly simple: For 30 minutes- $15 For 45 minutes- $20 For an hour- $30 This is flat rate pricing, which includes singing lessons, music theory, music history, diction, and acting.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal performance in 2011. I have performed in various operas, singing ensembles, and in concert settings, collaborating with organizations such as Opera Memphis, Heartland Opera Theatre, and Opera Kansas. I am constantly practicing, developing my technique, having conversations with collegues, reading books and blogs, and watching videos to stay up to date with current events in the music world. I often attend musical performances around the Joplin area as well.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I advise you to not expect anything to happen overnight, because it won't. Classical voice training takes time and dedication, but it is definitely worth it in the end.
