Thank goodness that our downtown Kirkwood 6-unit condo building chose Joshs and Amys St. Louis Roofing and Siding! Besides their VERY reasonable bid on our 73,000 sq. ft. roof, they gave a highly detailed work expectation to us personally AND in writing. The 2 other bids did not. What was quoted to us stayed on target! Josh and Amy were meticulously informative and always upfront from the very beginning to the end. They were always immediately available. Amazing people skills!!Amy used her Certified Drone Inspection license and her Fortified Certification advanced roofing knowledge.THAT along with Joshs life-long industry expertise is what secured our faith that this project with THIS company was the right thing to do!

I cannot say enough good things about Josh Vandevender and his company. As a senior woman taking on a total exterior remodel of my home myself, I had a great deal of anxiety about choosing the right contractor. From the beginning, Josh made the process much easier and gave me confidence that I had made the right choice.One of the things that impressed me most was his diligence with my insurance claim. I had a previous claim where the insurance company had refused to pay for a new roof, saying there was no damage. Josh didnt just accept the answer. He continued to pursue the matter and ultimately proved that the original inspector was wrong, resulting in the insurance company agreeing to pay 100% of the cost of my new roof. That level of persistence and dedication really stood out to me.Josh was always in communication with me throughout the project. He kept me informed, answered my questions, and made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. He also made sure I had samples of all the new materials, which was extremely important to me because I was making so many decisions.The quality of work, the materials, and the attention to detail have been excellent. Most importantly, I felt that Josh genuinely cared about getting everything right-not just getting the job done.Taking on such a large exterior remodel could have been too overwhelming but having someone I could trust made a tremendous difference. I am extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend Josh and his company to anyone looking for a roofing and siding contractor!

Both of my homes in Affton suffered hail damage from the big March storms in 2025. STL Roofing and Siding promptly sent an inspector to look at my roofs; they took pictures, showed me their findings, and walked me through all the next steps. They handled all the back-and-forth with my insurance company and are still fighting for one of my roofs that State Farm is denying for no reason. They have gone the extra mile to help me with this dispute. The roof that did get approved was completely replaced in a single morning. They have very experienced crews with great attention to detail. The best part is that I did not find a single nail anywhere on the property. I work in the home service industry and am always finding nails all over homes after roofers rush through their projects. STL Roofing and Siding went above and beyond the scope of work, has all the professional tools to help me battle the insurance company, and truly cares about their clients. I cant recommend this company enough for all your roofing and siding needs!
