Troy from Bed Bug Experts of KC was easy to work with. We hired a couple of other “professionals” to take care of a bed bug issue at a property that we own, and after multiple failed chemical treatments, we decided to go with a heat treatment with Bed Bug Experts of KC. Troy explained the process well and met with our tenant to go over preparation with them.
The day of treatment, he was communicating progress throughout the day, which was appreciated since we live out of town. Our tenant told us he was extremely thorough, and even moved furniture during the heat treatment. After it was done, he even cooled it down to make it comfortable for our tenant to get back into the residence faster. Our tenant has been bed bug free ever since.
The process was more expensive than the chemical treatments, but cheaper if you take into consideration the furniture Our tenant had to throw away as part of the chemical treatment. If we had the opportunity to do it again, we would’ve hired Troy and the Bed Bug Experts from the very start. They were excellent!

He arrived right on time. Explained everything that was going to happen that day in great detail. Offered to move things for me. Made sure I had this list he gave me completed to protect my belongings.
When I first found out I had these nasty things, I hated my house and wanted to burn it down. The assurance that this would take care of these nasty things was sincere. He kept me in the loop of the day progress. Put everything back, instead of leaving it to me. When he says he is invested he means it, he never left my house. He answered my questions honestly whether the question was dumb or not.
I was above and beyond pleased with The Bed Bug Expects of KC. He was discreet, he doesn't have signs on his truck or trailer which was comforting to me and my child who was afraid she would be made fun at school. If you are looking for a local self owned business, he is your guy. As much as I did not want to have this done, I am glad I chose Troy!!!! I like my house again.

Troy was exceptionally professional, personable, walked me through the entire process, and explained how this potentially happened as I was frustrated, overwhelmed, and could not believe it.
