What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is simply no way to quote a web design/dev project without considering all the variables outlined by each client. Client quotes are individually presented based on estimated time it will take to deliver the website functionality desired. If you have no website, no knowledge of web development, no in-house web savvy employees, poor or non-existent graphics, images or content, and need a high-end website you can completely control once built I can deliver. If you have an existing site that needs upgrading to incorporate the latest web standards and functionality, or video content, eCommerce, forums, mobile device delivery, etc. that you can completely control once rebuilt I can deliver. I build websites for clients who have nothing more than a domain name and provide no input whatsoever; and I work with clients who know exactly what they want and have existing content, graphics, video, etc. in any case, I can deliver. But if you have unreal expectations regarding cost, I cant help you.

I constantly engage in the latest educational resources and purchase the latest in hardware and software technology.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Necessity. I have been a business owner for over 28 years. I had to build my own websites, shoot and edit my own video, create my own graphics, and host my own websites, in order to get them done on time, in budget, and high quality.
