Steve arrived early at 11:30 to get the paperwork finished and rehearse the wedding. We were not exactly ready yet when he arrived. Steve was so patient and nice. He socialized with everyone and told us a little more about himself. The wedding went great! He was very professional and helpful. He stayed to talk a little more and enjoy some cake. Thank you so much Steve. We will recommend you to any couple who need a great officiant.Apr 8, 2017Verified

Steve Jordan was a very professional and helpful officiant for my wedding. He was always on top of what we wanted and prompt to answer any questions we had. He made the ceremony fit us on a personal level.Jun 30, 2016Verified

Steve was simply amazing. On one of the most important days of your life you want someone who is professional, personable and attentive. Steve made sure he talked with my fiance and I through calls and emails prior to the rehearsal. He let us choose the format of our ceremony which was great. On the actual day of our wedding Steve spoke with me just before walking down the aisle because he could tell I was nervous. We talked about golf and the honeymoon we had planned. During the ceremony my fiance was extremely nervous and Steve switched the ceremony around so that I said my vows first to give her some time to breathe. She absolutely loved that and I was more than happy. Steve made sure our ceremony was unique and special and we could not have asked for a better officiant.Jul 3, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Generally, I base the fee on my accumulated expenses that consider travel and time involved. I am not interested in making this a viable source of income. Instead, I am more interested in serving people and keeping it affordable. If I make a bid and the couple is not able to afford the asking price, I will work with them by making an adjustment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I allow couples to familiarize themselves with my work by sending samples of wedding services I have used in the past. I make every effort to contact them on a personal level by phone, email or text so I can be more informed about their needs. Whenever possible, I try to meet face to face before the ceremony.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in counseling that allows me to work more closely with people. A good part of my working life has been focused on working with people, including college age students in a student center on a university campus. I have counseled with couples of all beliefs and cultures. I enjoy meeting new people and will work very hard to make sure I help them make their wedding very special. I am a good listener, and am there to serve their needs.
