We could not be more happy with our experience with this contractor. He kept us in the loop from the time the doors were ordered to the last day of work. I did not have to contact them once to ask for status. They took ownership of the project and offered ways to help us save money on the project without sacrificing quality of work. Did all work to requested specifications, and even a few custom additions for my senior citizen mother. I wish all contractors were this professional and this easy to work with. Also, the final cost came in exactly what I was expecting in regards to the original estimate as the contractor kept me in the 100% in loop on additions I was requesting post bid. No surprises or hidden costs. 100% honest and professional. I'm very grateful for the help and hard work.

This contractor fail to honor specific details of terms in the his contract. His contract language foretold for him to remove glass door trim rings and replace. In actuality, in he fail to performed as contracted. I will never refer this contractor to any.

I am sorry that this customer feels like he was given poor service. He is correct, that the estimate was given to him stated that the lite trims would be replaced, and they were not. However, in our original visit, I had said that we should be able to replace them for around $100 in material. When I contacted the supplier, they were actually close to $500. I explained this to the customer, he stated that he didn't want to spend that much on some plastic trim. So I spent a considerable amount of time trying to improve what he had and prevent it from deteriorating any further, and then deducted $150 from the negotiated price. So, yes, the customer is correct in saying that the work performed was not as written, but he failed to mention that the price was reduced to reflect the trim not being replaced. My company is very new to thumbtack, and I realize that bad reviews can be detrimental to future hires. I'm very disappointed that this customer is unhappy, but the price he paid reflected the work completed, not what was on the estimate.
