I personalize each lesson to each student. Not everyone thinks the same way. So I find creative ways to explain technique and theory to each individual student.

I am an adult beginner and have been taking cellolessons from Rachel for about half a year now. I love learning from her and I think students get an excellent value for their tuition. She holds a group lesson every month where all of her students play together and perform which is really unique and wonderful. Her individual lessons are wonderful and she really goes above and beyond to help you okay you're best, helping with musicality and understanding the cello and music. A great thing about Rachel is her ability to teach a variety of levels and abilities. She doesn't make you feel like you feel like a child even if you are a beginner. On the flip side, from the little I've her of her lessons with kids and from the attitudes of her younger students at group lessons, I can tell she also is good with kids and helps then to feel happy and confident on their instruments. She teaches cello, violin, and viola.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is 75.00/90.00 per month (for 30 minute lessons) depending on a 4 week month or 5 weeks month. The amount changes is you would like 45 min- Hour lessons)

All courses related to music, music theory from SLCC.
16 years of continuous teaching.
Classically trained on Violin, Viola, and Cello.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was 14 years old. My cello teacher had someone interested in taking lessons from her because I played so well. She then gave him my phone number and told him that I taught cello lessons! So nerve racking!! But she sat through the first 6 months of his lessons to teach me how to teach. And here I am now 16 years later, still teaching and loving it!
