I would recommend Donnie to anyone who is interested in learning how to play a guitar. My son enjoys his guitar lessons and speaks very highly of him as a person and teacher.Feb 1, 2018Donnie's Guitar Lessons's reply
Hi Wendy! I have really enjoyed working with your son. He is learning very quickly and we will soon be in book 2! We get along great and he helps me to have fun during our lessons as well.
I have really enjoyed my lessons with Donnie. He's very professional, always on time and makes the lessons fun. It's a lot of fun learning to play guitar by learning songs that are popular. I highly recommend taking lessons from him!Jan 31, 2018Donnie's Guitar Lessons's reply
Thanks Matt! With all of the music we get to learn, I try to keep it interesting! The best way to do that is learn songs that you actually want to learn. If you don't like to song your practicing, you will not gain the maximum benefit of learning that material!
I am 65 years old and have been taking lessons from Donnie for several months now. Wish I could have had a teacher like him years ago. He is extremely knowledgable. He teaches at your own pace. Every week I look forward to my lessons. I would highly recommend Donnie for guitar lessons for anyone of any age. Thanks.Apr 25, 2016Review from GoogleDonnie's Guitar Lessons's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $25 for a 1/2 hour lesson, and $35 for 45 minutes, this applies to both online and in-person meetings. A new book costs $10-$15.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?During our first lesson I evaluate the new student to see what they really know so I can decide what curriculum they are ready to use. Then, we begin working towards their goals at their pace.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have spent the last 12 years learning guitar by playing in various bands. Everything from jazz and blues, to rock and country! I've spent years learning from professional musicians who are both educators and performers. Now, I am prepared to pass along this knowledge to you!
