Steve was quick to respond to initial request for electrical and did show up when he said he would that day. However, there were issues with hanging the new fixture in the existing spot, and ultimately he dropped the chandelier and broke it. Things happen, and we agreed that he would come back and hang the new chandelier at no cost once I received it. The disappointment is, he didn’t! Now, I’m out of pocket $24 for new light, and good thing I caught a Black Friday deal, and I’m also out the $75 to install which I had to hire someone else to do. While he was here, I had him fix a leaky faucet, and I was satisfied with the work. He charged me two hours for the plumbing, totaling $150, which is fine and was agreeable and paid. If I would have known he was not going to make good on the broken light and install, I would have deducted the cost of the broken light from his payment for the plumbing. However, he presented nicely and ethical, as if he was going to do the right thing. He chose not to and chose to not follow through. It suck’s being the nice trusting person, to only be screwed over!!
