Hi Dog Moms’ and Dads’ of the Kansas City metro area. I’m a seasoned groomer with 20 plus years of experience in grooming and also animal healthcare and handling. I have certifications in salon safety and animal first aid and training in coat types and skin issues as well. I have some available spots coming up for housecall grooming (clean up included)and I DO NOT USE A VAN. I have everything that I need to groom your dog beautifully. I just need an area to groom with protection from the sun and access to an outlet. I use the very best line of shampoo and conditioner and take a holistic approach to grooming. I believe in using a gentle hand and a patient heart and my goal is to provide a good grooming experience for the dogs, along with a convenient service for their owners. If your dog has anxiety or stress related to grooming, housecall grooming is the answer. It saves the dog the added stressors of the car ride to the salon and the salon environment it’s self. Stephanie was excellent with my Gaia. She was very careful with her. Gaia is a senior dog with a skin condition and arthritis. She used special products for her skin and took great care with her grooming. I have booked another grooming appointment with her.

Stefanie recently groomed our dog. This was her very first groom and it was done shortly after an injury and surgery. She took her time with our dogs needs and constantly made her feel comfortable. She was patient and gave our dog everything she needed. She was very punctual, professional, and friendly. We are very with Stefanie and her work and we will be using her services again.

Stefanie worked on our two long haired, double coated dogs, both get really stressed with grooming. I could tell that they both were more relaxed in their own environment, and they both looked like they felt SO much better after the bath and deshed! Great experience, will DEFINITELY hire Stefanie again!

Stefanie came to my house to groom my three dogs. My grand daughter was so excited. Stefanie let my grand daughter help. Each dog had their own story; one has a collapsing trachea. She was very gentle with him. One is a little skittish. Again very gentle. The third is an abused rescue. She took her time with her. My grand daughter took pictures to show her mom. Stefanie was great. I have already booked my next appointment with her. Stefanie is very personable and very caring when it comes to the babies she is grooming.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have release forms depending on the dogs age, health, and coat conditions for owners to sign amd also collect some general information for my records. We will discuss options amd prices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by a master groomer in 1999 and have been working as a groomer since. I’ve worked in salons and veterinary offices and also at corporate pet food store for a short time where I received additional training on pet first aid amd salon safety. I keep up on the latest styles and techniques and take advantage of opportunities for continuing education.
