I found Laurie on thumbtack from a random search on Google. I needed a hair and makeup stylist for a fun photo shoot I was doing for my birthday. Laurie was WONDERFUL! She is very easy to work with - prompt, friendly, flexible, affordable, she listened to what I wanted, and above all she really knows what she is doing! I'm so glad I found her. My hair and makeup turned out perfect (it didn't even budge when I was outside in the 100 degree heat)! I have recommended Laurie to my friends and would recommend her to anyone who needs a great stylist and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I had a bridal hair and makeup trial with Laurie and she was AMAZING!! I LOVED my hair and makeup. I sent my bridesmaid pictures and they fell in love with her work. She is fantastic! She made us feel very comfortable. You can tell that she has a real passion for what she does. Can't wait until July!

When I learned I had a photo shoot for work, I had about 24 hours to find a makeup artist. I found Laurie and not only was she responsive and easy to work with, but she did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup. I recommend her highly, and without reservation. She's great!

Laurie was a gem. She was very encouraging and helpful. She makes you feel at ease immediately. She is an amazing teacher and allows you to actually do the steps she is showing you. She gave me a list of all the products and where I could purchase them. I really appreciated that she allowed me to even text her from the store and after with questions. I would absolutely recommend her and would use her services if I had to have professional makeup done for an event. It was fun, relaxing and educational. Truely a great experience.

Laurie was fabulous! My daughter and I were looking for a hair/makeup artist last year for prom. My daugher has bad acne on her back, chest, and face in which we needed it covered. My daughter has always been self conscious about wearing strapless outfits. Laurie was able to cover the acne enough that my daughter wore a strapless dress and took off the shawl during prom. My daughter loved her so much we have booked a session with Laurie again for this years prom.
