Ed did a GREAT job on some repairs to our 1936 home that were necessary before we could put it on the market. The project involved a lot of different skills - everything from lead paint removal and repair to interior painting, some kitchen remodel, drywall repair, bathroom remodeling, and other odds and ends. He was a great craftsman, very professional in his work, and honest, reasonable, and competitive in his rates. He was prompt, diligent, hard-working, and we had no complaints whatsoever. I would absolutely recommend Ed and Ten Star Construction to my friends and family, and anyone else in need of a skilled handyman, and would hire them again for any needs my family would have in the future.

He just finished some laundry room work for us and we couldn't be happier. We've always done all of our own work before because we were seldom happy with the quality of "professionals" work, but crawling around isn't as easy as it used to be before two titanium knees. He took up old floor, laid cement board and porcelain tiles; moved plumbing fixtures; repaired and painted walls and ceiling; and hung a new door. Hard worker, very knowledgeable, and very competent and precise. Clean up was exceptional. Would use him again for any project.

Ed has done five large scale restoration projects with our company, and numerous smaller projects. Nice sells because ugly doesn't...we value the same things as Ed and when your skilled labor values the same things as the property owner the construction process goes much more smoothly. We choose to work with Ed because he has always taken the time to really understand the intentions of our design work, although by now it is probably more intuitive because of the amount he has built with us.

I called Ed to look at my front porch because I had old termite damage. He came out same day and provided reasonable quote and took the time to explain how he would repair the damage. He complete the job next day. He was not only on time, but completed job on time as described ! He is very knowledgable and I plan on using again. Thanks Ed...

I was referred to Ed by a friend to help fix a door frame and garage door after a break-in. He came by the next day, took a look at the work, quoted me a price, and completed the work that day. He did a fantastic job and was so friendly and knowledgeable. He will now be my go-to guy. Thanks Ed!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in CAD And design, I do alot of designing to help my customers get that custom look. It's a signature of the work I offer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for a roofing company at the age of 14. I liked building things, and then through the years I became very good at building things with my hands, I like working for myself because it never gets boring.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Custom Kitchen and baths, stone walls and flooring, decks and archways. I do alot of repairs on lighting and plumbing.
