I am extremely anal and picky when it comes to my rental properties! I had never planned on turning my properties over to a management company. I always felt a management co. would just suck out the profits, and not manage my properties like I would/do. I was afraid they would not hustle to get a new tenant in my vacant property, or that I would just be a 'number' to them. Fast forward, I was getting too busy to manage my properties. I decided to give Dennis a chance, he had been doing some 'handyman' jobs for my properties on the side. I was always impressed, with the fact that I did not need to micromanage him. He did what he said he would do, quick, and at a reasonable rate. He is hungry for the work, and doesn't make excuses why he cant get the job done. He does what he says he is going to do, without me following up...which is sooo hard to find too often!! Dennis is managing 17 properties for me currently, while managing a rehab for me on another property. He looks out for my best interests, he works hard, and follows through without me having to be on him at all. I do not write this review lightly. Very rarely have I used a business or vendor where I feel the service I receive warrants a review. I know I am very picky, and I can honestly say I would recommend Dennis in a heartbeat. I was not expecting that when I started researching property managers. Dennis has taken a lot of stress off my plate, and I think he manages my properties better than I managed my own! - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Our property managers are members of the Realtor association and do standard continuing education on all real estate practices. We also read up on new management ideas and trends happening around the nation. We also go through training with our systems providers and train with other management companies in a collective networking group for improving professional services.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I love problem solving, working with people and I love everything to do with houses. So putting the three things together just made sense
- What types of customers have you worked with?The most common job we do for owners is leasing a vacant unit and then managing the rent collection and repair needs of the new tenant. We offer other services such as unit remodeling and mowing, but most clients simply take advantage of our professional leasing and management services.
