These are legal matters that I needed the translations for. I sent the audio files on March 2/2020. He gave me a delivery date for March 28/2020. Its April 13th and he didn't even start yet! He kept promising a delivery date next week, in two days, by the end of this week. He never even started!!! Extremely unprofessional and extremely unreliable!Apr 13, 2020VerifiedAviles Translations's reply
Thank you for your review Mara. As we stated we have been dealing with the corona issues for a while and we apologize for this. Since this seems to be the start of something we sincerely apologize and hope you can find someone to work on such a delicate project. We conversed once and not multiple times as you indicate. Hope you can find someone to tackle on this sensitive project.
Aviles Translations was an absolute dream to work with. They were professional and very quick with their response to all my questions. I need some translations for my wedding ceremony rather quickly, and Rick was super quick and kind with everything I needed. I will definitely be using their service again!Jun 16, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is negotiable depending on the length and timing the customer may need for the job. Lessons are discounted when bought in packages. I try to complete all my work within a few days depending on my schedule and client needs. With that being said, clients needs are always first.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Listening to the customer is key to our success. There are times when a project may be lucrative but we do not have the capabilities to handle it. We believe it is important to be honest and up front.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a native born Spanish speaker. From 1-12 grade I studied in Spanish. In 2008 I joined the military and passed the Defense Language Profiency Test with a near perfect score. I was able to translate verbally and written for the military police corp when needed. Shortly after I worked with Homeland Security as an intern where I would translate documents of high importance as well as calls and be a part of interviews and interrogations.
