Introduction: -I have more than a decade of experience tutoring math in the US. Over the years, I have developed numerous techniques of teaching basic skills as well as advanced math concepts. -I am an expert in many areas and levels of math subject, not just one or two courses. -I was educated in another country, which gives me an advantage of knowing many more methods and techniques of teaching math. If traditional methods don't help, I have at least a dozen other approaches in my pocket to get my student through a difficult concept. In addition, I teach my students many methods and tricks to speed up the work, which the students always find cool. Some fun with math never hurts! I like to see my students start believing in themselves and their ability to tackle math challenges. I love when my students text me about getting an "A" on a test or about improving an ACT score. I love to watch them transform from "I will never understand it" to "I can do it!" And I love to hear: "Thank you!" . I would like to believe that I make a difference in my students' lives.

Elly has worked with several of my children, covering elementary math through pre-algebra. She is an excellent teacher- gentle, instructive, and efficient. Not too hard, but moves them along at an impressive pace. I highly recommend her!

I worked with Elly all through high school. Math was never my strongest subject (more of an English person) but she would help me with everything I needed. She was very flexible and would work around my schedule best that she could. Everything I brought home from school we would work through together and it really did help me get through my harder math years in school. I would definitely recommend Elly to anyone who needs a little extra help in math!

Elly helped me out quite a bit with my math classes in high school. I always struggled with maths and really needed all the help I could get. She broke down concepts that were hard to grasp in a way that was much more comprehensive, by solving problems step by step. Overall I became more confident, and my results improved. I helped my kids with math when they were young, then I decided that I liked teaching math better than mechanical engineering. I teach and tutor ever since.
