Rick from Weddings R Me is fantastic!! We were looking for someone to perform a non religious ceremony and he did just that. The spoken part was beautiful and we had several guests compliment Rick and say how nice of a ceremony it was. 10/10!!

Rick officiated a small intimate ceremony in our home and it was perfect! When I first reached out, he was quick to respond and we spoke on the phone about what I wanted for the ceremony. He arrived on time and immediately made us both feel comfortable and relaxed. His speech was perfect and it was a very sweet moment. I would definitely recommend Rick!

Rick was amazing. We found his service online via Thumbtack as we looked around for Officiants in the Saint Louis area. We were both a little cautious hiring someone we had never met, but once we sat down with Rick, it felt like we had known him for years and both felt extremely comfortable. He was always on time so there is no need to worry about that! Even two days before the wedding during our rehearsal, we made a few tweaks to our ceremony, and he promptly took all the notes right then and there which was great to see. His work during our ceremony was short and sweet, which is just what we wanted, but also something that all the guests loved and we will remember forever. Thank you, Rick, for being a part of our big day, and we definitely recommend him for anyone out there getting married soon!

Rick was great! We had a friend who was going to officiate our wedding and they cancelled 2 weeks before our wedding so I found Rick (Weddings R Me), he was quick to respond and answered all of my questions. He was professional, dressed nice, flexible, and he gave a wonderful service that was unique and really fit us even though he had only talked with me on the phone. I was nervous about having someone I had never met officiate our wedding but he did a phenomenal job! The groom and I were very pleased with Rick!!!

I had searched for a weddingofficiant through Thumbtack and Rick was quick to respond. He was enthusiastic about being a part of our special day. He was easy to work with, easy to get ahold of and patient when we were running late getting the ceremony started. The ceremony was short and sweet the way we wanted it but he made it feel personable, not stiff. He even stuck around to get a picture with us.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are reasonable and vary depending on day of the week, distance from my home and whether or not I'm required for the rehearsal. We'll discuss what your needs are and work from there.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After accepting my quote, we'll correspond via text, email, and/or phone. I'll send you a contract detailing your wishes and my obligations. If you agree with the contract, simply return an email stating that you agree. You may make your deposit via Thumbtack, or, if you prefer, other arrangements to pay that may be made. The balance of my fee will be due the day of the ceremony. I normally arrive an hour prior to the wedding and we can take care of the license and my balance at that time.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
At one time, I was involved with a funeral home in a very old church. We decided to do weddings there as well, so I got ordained and found how much I loved performing ceremonies. I'm not involved with the funeral home any longer, but still enjoy doing weddings.
