FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This industry has many variables to it and every project is different, but in general we work on a 30% margin rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We want our clients to enjoy the fact that they have chosen to work with them. Once a request for information has been obtained, we send a message to the client with our contact information in that message. We do not want to fall into the same category as many people out there and bother the client with phone calls at unwanted times. Therefore, we ask that the client call and set up a time to meet at their convenience, not ours. We then meet with the client and gather the information we need to give an accurate quote, but most importantly, our meeting will be focused on the needs and wants of the client. We need to understand what the client is looking for. If needed we will set up another time to visit with the client in order to provide them with samples that they can look at in order to make an educated choice. We then prepare a quote for the project and send it to the client. We also let the client know that we are available if there are any questions or concerns that they have. The client reviews the quote. If the quote is accepted we move into the project phase. We work closely with the client about the different options that they may have. We get all selections finalized, a deposit on the project as well as a payment schedule for bigger projects, and we then get the products ordered. We then will let the client know the estimated delivery dates. We schedule a start date for the project as well as let the client know an estimated time frame that the project should take. Work begins on the project once work is completed, a final walkthrough with the client is done so that we ma address any concerns at that point. Final payment is then made. Although final payment has been made, that is definitely not the end of our relationship. We truly believe that our clients are our clients for life. We want to earn your business, not just get your business. We will be there for you in any home improvement needs that you may have. We have a newsletter in order to let our clients know about specials and new products that come out. We also have another service where we remind our clients of proper maintenance for their products.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are firm believers in continued education. We believe that the main reason there are so many problems in the construction industry is the lack of education. We take advantage of every training seminar and/or school that we can. Our most recent certification is with Schluter, which is a waterproofing and decoupling system for ceramic tile, natural stone, and wood products. We have also been certified in heat welding. flash coving, Carpet installation, and vinyl installations in the past
