Introduction: The main reason that our program is the best choice for ANY child is because unlke our competition, we actually treat EACH AND EVERY STUDENT as if they are their own class. What I mean by that is that is: Most schools, whether they be public or private, teach from a standard general lesson plan for a whole class. At Learning Journey, we know that every student learns differently, processes information at a different pace, and they all need special attention in THEIR OWN WAY. So, that is why we evaluate every student first before any lessons are started. After this initial evaluation we then develop an individualized lesson plan specifically meant to meet your childs needs. In turn, this ensures that not only will your child learn quicker and actually enjoy the process, but it boosts thier self-esteem and confidence level so that they are more open to learning. Our promise to ourselves and our students is that, not only will they learn and grow, but they will also retain the things they have learned. I love making children feel more confident about themselves by showing them that anyting is possible if you put your mind to it. I love the fact that I can ensure even the dimmest futures turn out to be bright ones.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is not complicated at all. We charge a flat rate for homeschooling (the only variation in this area is if you choose to have one of our Teachers come to your private residence). As far as just "Tutoring", the pricing is based upon whether or not we travel to your private home, how many subjects, and how many hours a day. Specific prices/quotes are always given at the initial consultation.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We homeschool several of our students at their own homes and have about 10 students to come into our classroom daily. We also provide tutoring services for children of any age. One of the perks at Learning Journey, is that our clients have the option to come to us or we do in-home tutoring and homeschool in private homes also.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I always advise parents to choose carefully when trying to find the right teacher for their child, Consultations with various companies such as ours is always a must. You have to know for sure that your child is comfortable with their teachers because the wrong Student/Teacher combination could be detrimental to your childs education!
