FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on several factors: the type of film used or chosen, the total square feet of film being used, and the difficulty of the job. For example, if an installer has to tint using a lift or build scaffolding to do the installation then this will typically cost more. There is a HUGE difference in films, often time based on the manufacturer so this too affects pricing. For example: you can't buy a Mercedes at the same price as you can buy a Chevrolet. There are differences. Both great vehicles but both different. Films are very similar.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. We are constantly in touch with our film manufacturers regarding the latest and greatest changes and updates in our industry. We also are very active and involved with our professional trade assocation, the International Window Film Association, again to make sure we are trained and aware of any changes or updates in our industry. Our installers are certified and accrediated each year that more become available. We also do a ot of lunch and learns with other professionals associated with our industry to help keep them aware of industry changes and standards.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into this line of business and this industry because I saw a need for a great professional company that could offer A LOT of options and not just whatever they had in stock. A company was needed that would work with customers and educate them about films, their differences, and what the films can do for them. I also saw a desire for folks to want to "save energy" and films help do this. I saw folks wanting to save money and films help do this. We also unfortunately live in a society where crime is rising and folks wanted to be better protected and our security films help do this. In short, we help folks solve problems or potential problems and save money.
