Introduction: I board and groom dogs at my home. I have a large dog yard attached to our sunroom that has a doggy door for the dogs to come and go as they please. I also have a separate shop for my grooming as well as an additional boarding space. I just recently added basic obedience training to my services. Basic training is something you should start very early in a dog's life. But it can start at any time! What I tell my clients up front is....it takes TIME and repetitiveness to get a fully trained dog. It does not happen overnight or within one month. I can help get your dog started with the basic obedience skills and then show you how to continue at home. This can be in the form of hourly sessions with you and your dog at my house or monthly sessions where your dog boards here overnight with me.

Dog Training

I loved Donna and so did my dog tucker, I really appreciated all the work she did with my dog. I could tell tucker really loved being there for the month and he came but with quite a few new things that he learned. I will definitely be bringing tucker to board there and if I’m in the area to be groomed!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My boarding fee is similar to hotel fees. It doesn't matter what time you drop off (check-in) your dog, you'll pay for that day of boarding. On the day you pick up (check-out) your dog, I do not charge for that day if you pick up by noon.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    New customers need to provide current vaccination records. I ask questions about how a normal day goes at their home with their dog. I get details of their dog's diet or any medications. I examine their dog to see if it has any sores, skin conditions, matting, joint issues, etc.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have been in business since 1998. No formal training, just self- taught by reading, watching videos, asking professionals questions, shadowing well experienced people already in business and well respected. Some online training and testing.
