Ben came out to look at a unique project I had hoped Ground Works would be able assist with. Unfortunately, my project was outside what they can provide. However, Ben went above and beyond to advise me on how to approach the challenges my project presents. He was very patient with my many questions and very informative on how to proceed without thier services. Ben Gilmore came out to assess a squishy floor in a ground level addition.He presented himself as a gentleman. L He was very thorough, considering several possibilities. After a through examination, he gave me a detailed explanation of what was happening. I then asked about an estimate. He explained that GroundWorks does not remedy my specific problem. After all his time, sleuthing for the problem, suggesting a remedy and explaining the problem as he saw it, his company could not assist. That was the sign of absolute honesty and integrity. If I ever had work that GroundWorks could remedy, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them and will recommend them.

This review is how I feel now, but might give 5 stars if our home does not settle any further like they promise. First and foremost the crew that they brought in from CO was awesome! We could fully trust them in our home which was important to us.We had to have piers installed in order to sell our home. (54 piers I believe) Our bill with Groundworks was over $200k, and we are left with probably $35k in expense to repair our landscaping and the inside of our home to get it back to starting. (The bedrock was 80feet deep which lead to about $60k additional cost from initial quote) It was a HUGE project and they worked on our home for a month.The mess is something you truly need to mentally prepare for. I do also feel the companies communication could be improved. I still have concerns about it and am not positive it was the best job done for a few reasons.All Im saying is do your research with companies, bring in your own engineer and visit with them. Do not put down a deposit until you are 110% you have chosen the right company and fully understand the size of the job.

Timing has been a difficult oneo navigate, in a moving from one state to the next. you get limited on time when you can meet up with these particular professionals. This type of work before the snow flies for sure. He was prompt met my very narrow in town window. Gave me a quote, extremely fair, provded me with a solution that took all the worries off my mind! They even extended the incentive of same day signing of contract because they knew I wanted to run it past my husband who was not available at the time. They didn't have to, but they seemed like realistically thinking professionals. I greatly appreciated that. I ended up signing the contract and I already have a date on the books to start work! Recommend highly!!
