About
STOP — PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME Insurance is accepted ONLY for Montana clients seeking substance use/addiction treatment. All other services are self-pay only. Out-of-state insurance is not accepted. Hi, I’m Amy Bailey, a Licensed Addiction Counselor and trauma-informed coach with over 20 years of experience in behavioral health, nervous system regulation, and recovery-focused work. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, addiction, emotional overwhelm, relationship distress, ADHD, and PTSD—especially when traditional approaches haven’t worked. My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. I combine evidence-based clinical frameworks such as CBT, DBT, and crisis intervention with nervous-system-focused coaching to help clients stabilize quickly and create sustainable change without endless talk therapy. I’m the author and creator of the upcoming book, The Monkey Off Method, a nervous-system regulation framework that integrates breathwork, cold exposure, and mindfulness-based practices to help reduce fight-or-flight responses and restore emotional balance. This framework is used within coaching services when clinically appropriate. In addition to coaching, I provide behavioral health consulting for individuals, providers, and small organizations. Consulting services include program development support, documentation and compliance coaching, clinical workflow improvement, staff training, and case consultation. Consulting services are self-pay or contract-based. I am also a United States Armed Forces veteran and bring a grounded, accountable, and supportive style to my work, balancing validation with clear structure and forward movement. Sliding fee scale is available on a unlimited basis and for USAF veterans.

Amy and I have been working together for 3 months now….I don’t know how else to describe it but I had been living in total distress, like my mind had been hijacked. She has taught me how to manage difficult emotions and feelings thru very effective skills for nervous system regulation. Amy has helped me reach inner freedom. I can’t thank you enough.

Amy is the best therapist I have ever had. She is totally amazing and committed to helping her clients. In a very short time about 2-3 months she has helped me cope with life changing experiences. I have learned and am still learning strategies on how to look at the challenges of life in a positive way. She has taught me how I can help myself in moments of stress. It is work to learn new coping skills, but she is there encouraging you, celebrating your wins and will teach you more positive ways to think and cope and you will not even know it. She has helped me so much and I am truly grateful to have found her as my therapist. For those of you struggling to cope, please reach out to her. She has helped me so much, it would be wonderful if you give her a chance to help you as well.

Amy is receptive, reflective, compassionate and provides valuable tools to enact change in real life. As someone who has spent 20+ years in and out of therapy, I have never had a therapist equip me with the tools to successfully work through my trauma and minimize PTSD responses. My two favorite appointments are getting my hair done and problem solving with Amy’s guidance.

I met Amy at my absaloute worst. The day to day was overwhelming. I had seeked help prior but simply just talking about my issues didn't help. Once Amy and I had the opportunity she listed but followed with tips to help face the issue without all the panic and doom I was facing. The technique she teaches is truly life changing. I highly recommend her!
