We are an acoustic musical trio specializing in wedding ceremonies, featuring violin, hammered dulcimer, and guitar. Our music includes traditional celtic and old time tunes plus many contemporary tunes with the feel of traditional tunes, some are our own compositions.
We believe the sound of live music, especially beautiful and appropriate instrumental music played on quality instruments by talented musicians, makes for an especially memorable experience for not only the bride and groom, but also the guests at your wedding. We love seeing your wedding ceremony become that memorable experience!

Weatherwood played beautiful music at my wedding reception last summer, playing along with a contra-dance caller. They created such a fun environment and were incredibly considerate and flexible when the whole schedule of the reception ran about an hour and a half late! We continue to receive complements on how fun the reception was, and Weatherwood was a huge part of the success! They were also great at communicating!

I hired Weatherwood to play at our daughters wedding in Big Sky Montana! this group was so impressive as they allowed me to visit with them during one of their own rehearsals. They took the time to help me choose which music I wanted and to really understand what our family was looking for. They were professional, showed up on time, and, most of all played so beautifully! We received so many compliments from our guests on Weatherwood.

Great job at our wedding, was thoroughly impressed and pleased with Weatherwood. They came and set up in the Map Room at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and sounded great.
