Most of the people I photograph are couples, and I genuinely love it (although I also love working with families, individuals, and groups of friends!). Whether it’s an engagement, anniversary, surprise proposal, save-the-date, or just wanting updated photos together, I want your session to feel less like a ‘photoshoot’ and more like an experience you’ll actually enjoy. My approach is highly collaborative. Bring me your vision, and we’ll bring it to life together. And if you don’t have a vision yet, that’s okay too, I’ll help you tease it out! My turnaround time to get your full gallery back to you is 2-3 weeks for standard shoots and 4-5 weeks for weddings. You usually end up with 50-100 professionally edited photos for a standard 1-hr shoot. If you “don’t like being photographed,” you’re not alone, and you’ve come to the right place. Being in front of a camera is vulnerable. You’re asking someone to really see you and capture you the way you hope to be seen. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough that your genuine connection naturally comes through. By day, I’m a couples counselor, and that naturally carries into my photography. I’ll probably ask a few fun, connective questions and gently guide you in ways that make the session feel more like a date than a performance. My favorite photos are almost always the ones where you forget the camera is there. I’ve been practicing photography for about 10 years, and commenced my business in Jan. 2024. I love being able to use my favorite hobby to share joy with people during their special moments of life!
