- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my BS degree from Montana Tech in Pre-Professional Health and my 650 Hour Certificate in Therapeutic Massage from the Montana School of Massage, I have done Continuing Education in: -Prenatal Massage -Infant Massage and Infant Massage Instruction -Accupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine -Oncology Massage -Orthopedic Assessment -Orthopedic Massage
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was something I have always wanted to do since I was very young. I used to sell neck/shoulder massages for $1 in my mother's cafe when I was 8!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most often I see people with specific issues such as low back pain, neck pain (often from Motor Vehicle Accidents) and headaches. I also see a lot of runners with knee/hip pain, but there is also a huge variety of other people I see.
