On top of that, we had a lice scare at summer camp, so I had washed nearly 25 loads of laundry that I hadn’t yet folded. I let Nico know ahead of time that the piles would be in my closet, partly because I was embarrassed for her to see it that way, but more importantly to make it clear they’d be out of her way and not something I expected her to handle.
Not only did they leave my house absolutely spotless, but I was shocked to discover that they had transformed my chaotic closet from a complete mess into a beautifully organized space. It was such an unexpected act of kindness that meant so much during a time when I physically couldn’t do it myself.
Finding businesses that go above and beyond for their clients is rare these days.
