Introduction: Even when I'm reading for pleasure, words not used correctly or in the right context jump out at me. The last 4 books I have read had errors in them. To me, it mars the credibility of the author and is unacceptable. I believe the English language should be used correctly. I've even pulled a manager at Lowe's Grocery store to point out a misspelling of a sign that lines the isle of groceries, and have called a HVAC office and a Hardies to tell them their signs were spelled wrong!

I spent many years in the medical field and would like to lead a more sedate lifestyle now. Since this little word obsession has been with me my whole life, it seems natural that I should see where this takes me.
