We are proud to announce a name change with some good additions! Formerly Carolina Excavating, we are now Nicholas W Chapman Construction! We have changed the name to better serve you with additional services! We are now offering Home remodeling, Deck and Porch additions and remodels and more! During this difficult time of Social Distancing and Staying at home, we are offering remote visits with FaceTime and photos. We can also do drive by visits and work with you however possible. We are here to assist in any way we can! We are a small local business with our main focus being good customer service and professional work. We will work with all of our customers to make sure they 100% satisfied every time.

Outstanding job. High quality workmanship and a pleasure to work with. I had an initial idea of what I wanted. Over the lifecycle of the project, it changed and Nick collaborated with me to accommodate changes. Beautiful end result, so nice my neighbors have hired him to build their new deck.

Nick was great. He did an excellent job. We contracted him to do a drainage around the house and to build an 11x13 deck and help cover an area that had a round shape with a mini deck as well, it was challenging but he delivered. I was very happy he took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand and every day he would update me and give expectations of what they were going to work on. Even though we were scheduled to start in May and our job got delayed, once he was able to start the work it was done pretty fast. He arrived last Monday to take measurements and buy materials, he started the following day and finished by Friday. They left everything cleaned. I will definitely recommend and contract him again.

I am having a new 20x20 garage installed with a 20x20 drive in front. I had several qoutes and decided on Carolina Escavarion. They were not the least expensive but I felt like I was in good hand after discussing what I wanted. Nick listened to my requests and made sure he did everything I wanted the way I wanted it. I had a monolithic slap poured for the shed and regular pad for the drive. Nick suggested a french drain based on the slope to the shed and I agreed it was a good idea and went with his suggestion. I was never pressured. When I asked for additional work such as removing additional trees & stumps, to have additional space around the shed and adding top soil he was happy to fit the extra work into his busy schedule an and a reasonable price. He made sure to clean up after himself like pressure washing the area where dirt and gravel were dumped l. He was always professional. I would not think twice about using Carolina Escavation again and would certainly recommend them to my friends and family. If you need escalation work done and want it done right and for a reasonable price you are in good hands here.

Nick is great to work with. He is professional and communicated with me the whole way through many projects. He built a wall bookshelf, a custom barn door, a mini bar, put cabinets and countertop in my laundry room and added crown molding. He always went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with his work and was willing to adapt to any changes. I am definitely keeping his number as you always need a great contractor, and he is that. Thanks Nick!

I strongly recommend Nick and Nina for any home maintenance or improvement needs. They are honest, humble and reliable. They have innovative ideas and put alot of effort into their work... I recently purchased a home and wanted several things to improve the value of it. I'm pleased to say that after a short period of time they finished 4 closets, a custom entertainment place, shiplap on multiple walls, paint, a laundry and mud room, new rainfall shower and so much more. After talking to multiple contractors that have been unprofessional, over priced and unresponsive, Nick gave me a more than great price and never went outside our discussed budget. I saved so much money, time and stress hiring these two. They have done more for me than close affiliates. I strongly recommend them. Nick and Nina, I thank you for the great work, ideas and efficiency. As a customer, first hand witness and now friend, I plan on working with you for all my home improvement needs again in the near future. If I could give you a 10 star instead of 5 star I would.
