Introduction: Angier K9 Consultants as a company offers many different services including dog training, service dog training, therapy dog training, and dog walking. Every breed of dog was designed for a different job and each of these breeds come with their own challenges due to a lot of their natural instincts. Over the years we have worked with many different breeds including a lot of working breeds that are misunderstood due to the way that they may react to different situations. I hired Angier K9 Consultants after considerable research and it has been a pleasure and a relief! My dog, a 7 month old Springer Spaniel/ Poodle is a high energy teenager. She was an easy going, “perfect” puppy, then started ignoring commands, charging the door, pulling on leash, barking and jumping on people. From the first it was clear that the dog was not the problem! I had a lot to learn. Christian immediately had her attention and cooperation. His instructions are clear and accompanied by explanations of dog behaviors that I found most helpful in identifying what I need to change in my approach. Christian is easy to work with and willing to modify his program to address some problems up front to meet my immediate concerns. This was something other trainers were not able/ willing to offer. Another valuable aspect of the Angier K9 program program is going out into the community with the trainer to ensure good behavior no matter where you go with your dog. We are still in training and I am very happy with the progress. My dog is also very happy. She obviously loves working with Christian and having a “job.” I highly recommend Angier K9 Consultants!

We hired Christian to help us train our Husky pup, Elijah. Elijah was very skittish when we got him, but in a few short weeks of working with Christian, he has gained confidence and is learning commands quickly. Christian is very professional and knowledgeable about all things related to dogs and dog training. He’s always willing to answer any questions we have and is very patient when explaining how to continue our “homework” with Elijah in between training lessons. We highly recommend him to anyone looking to get their dog trained. We’ve already seen so much improvement, but look forward to seeing what more Elijah will learn in the weeks and months to come.

Christian is very intelligent when it comes to dogs and training dogs. He is very helpful with any questions you need with anything about your pups! Also he is great with prices and is very affordable! He came today and did the first day of training my pups have already made a ton of progress just in the first day!!!! For those in search of a local trainer for your pup, and not sure who to choose.. let me help you! Look no further! You found your guys! And trust me I did my homework.. Christian and his team offer what the others don't. He's professional, prompt, great communicator, and on top of that, he's affordable. I know a lot may need to hire a trainer for their dog, but fear how they're going to pay for it. All the others trainers in the area seem to have packages that are more than the average person's monthly salary, but Christian offers amazing packages that are affordable - and payment in full is not required from get-go! Now that can be a huge deal breaker for many, and that's something I know some other trainers require. Now for his actual skills, this man is like the dog whisperer of Angier! I have a crazy Newfie pup that would require Adderall for puppies if it existed, and just won't obey any orders! but now she has Christian! Within just a few minutes of Christian walking in my front door, my hyped up spastic lil newf, who has never had a bit socialization warmed right up and clung to Christian, and they were best friends right after their first encounter.. If he can calm her down within just a few minutes of meeting, He can work his magic on any dog.. and I'm stoked to see how far she comes by the end of her lessons! If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would, After you choose Angier K9 Consultants, I'm sure you'll feel the same.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have many different prebuilt packages for different average situations and all custom packages are based on a per session price. If you live in our local area you will receive a 15% discount on our training services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically complete an in home consultation first. From there I build a customized training plan depending on the dog’s natural instincts, personal needs, and if there is a specific skill that the pet parent wants the dog to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have learned from many different experienced dog trainers over the years and completed canine behavior education.
