Unlike typical Italian instructors, I learned Italian as a second language just as my students will. I know the challenges English speakers face in learning Italian and have extensive experience helping students learn the language, culture, history, and society to their desired level of proficiency. I love the moment when things start to click for my students. Italian grammar can be challenging but there is always the "aha" moments students have when they not only understand a concept but when they are able to utilize it in their Italian speaking as well.
