Introduction: Alma supports individuals in getting to the root cause of their health challenges by treating the body-mind as one being. She will help you address your physical, mental, and emotional symptoms. Alma’s specialties include digestive problems, blood sugar and metabolic disorders, hormonal imbalances, post-cancer recovery, auto-immune diseases, obesity and weight gain, anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, and trauma resolution. Your individualized healing program will be tailored to your specific needs and desires. It includes a comprehensive health assessment, diet and lifestyle plan, herb and supplement suggestions, stress management techniques and tools for regulating your nervous system, addressing underlying trauma and patterns that may keep you stuck, in-depth guidance, support, and accountability. My wife and I recently worked with Alma while we were transitioning to eating a more plant based diet and she was very helpful along the way. I never did Pilate Thai Yoga before but i enjoyed it. It was very interesting relaxing and felt very thoughtful and with specific intent for health and healing. I also enjoyed your presence energy and the easy and interesting conversation. In my personal journey to health and wellness, I have been fortunate to experience all of Alma’s different services. She has educated and inspired me to make healthier choices for myself and my family. Alma is very passionate about plant-based nutrition and helping people transition to a lifestyle that is sustainable and environmentally conscientious. I have had a grocery tour with her and she pointed out healthier substitutes and alternatives to everyday convenience foods that my family was accustomed to. She recommended certain supplements and essential oils that have supported me in balancing my hormones after having children. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in bio-individuality - meaning, one program doesn't fit all. Once I find out where you are struggling and what you would like to achieve, I will provide recommendations to an appropriate program for you. We may use a variety of techniques including: Bodywork, Functional Nutrition, and/or Natural Hormone Balancing. The protocol will be dependent on your individual needs and desires.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first session is getting to know you, learning about where you may be struggling and need support, so we can develop a plan to help you reach your optimal health. If you're not sure if my program is for you, I offer complimentary 20-minute wellness breakthrough sessions. This session is a great way for you to get a feel for how I work with clients and see if we would be a good fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certifications: - Functional Health Coach - Insulin Resistance Coach - Gluten Practitioner - Transpersonal Energy Healing Counselor - Body Mind Balance Practitioner - Reiki Practitioner - Thai Yoga Stretching Therapist In addition, I am currently enrolled in a very extensive practitioner training program through Institute of Nutritional Endocrinology where I am studying directly with Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo, an internationally recognized nutrition and health authority with almost 30 years of clinical experience. I have received comprehensive training on adrenal fatigue, digestive problems, and blood sugar imbalances/insulin resistance, among others. I find myself being drawn to constantly learning various healing modalities because I believe healing takes place when body-mind-spirit are in balance.
