What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Service appointments begin with a $100 service fee. Diagnostic evaluation is $100 and is credited when the recommended repair is approved. Repair pricing is provided upfront before work begins. If no repair is performed, the total service and diagnostic visit is $200
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I recommend hiring a licensed and insured plumbing professional and comparing more than just the lowest price. Ask whether the contractor is properly licensed, what is included in the quoted price, and whether the work will be completed to the current plumbing code. Good plumbing should be done correctly the first time.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Think about what problem you are experiencing, how long has it been occurring, and whether anything has been already repaired or replaced. Photos are extremely helpful and can sometimes allow us to provide pricing before scheduling. For installations, know whether you are supplying the fixture or would like us to supply the fixture. The more information available upfront, the better it is to give accurate expectations on scope and pricing.
