- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is not difficult to understand at all. We take into our calculation the cost of flowers, and materials, "labor" and delivery costs. We are usually less expensive with our quotes and calculations than many other florists because we own our own building. This helps to curb overhead which in turn allows us to offer our customers a more reasonable price.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Connie grew up in the floral business. She was in a flower shop from the age of 6 years old. When Peggy passed away in 2011, her customers were insistent that Peggy's Bouquets stay open. Connie had the designer skills and we felt as though there was a need for top quality floral work in our area.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The florist business is alive and blooming year around. Birthdays, Anniversaries Funerals and Wedding happen in every season. Our busiest times are Valentines Day and the week of Mother's Day. We also get a lot of fellas out of the dog house with fresh flowers and help with that oh so difficult apology note.
