As an ICF certified coach, I bring 30+ years of professional experience -- in coaching, human resources, training, consulting, and management. Having worked in traditional corporations, not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities, and as an entrepreneur, I have conducted over 1500 hours of life, academic, professional and executive coaching.
I have also completed 250+ hours of formal coach training through recognized ICF training programs. I bring a high tech / high touch approach to each coaching relationship -- to ensure that each coachee attains his or her goals, and to empower him or her to navigate decisions more confidently.

Cathy was an extraordinary help and resource in helping me understand the different strategies and avenues I can take in the next step of my career. She was always prompt, responsive, and supportive in both a professional manner, but she also takes great interest in you as a person. Her methods added a lot of value to my coaching time and helped me to understand many things about myself at work that I was not even aware of myself. I highly recommend working with her whether you are trying to figure out your next (or first career), or a seasoned professional who wants more out of their career.

I have been working on an on-going basis with Cathy for over almost two months now. I always look forward to our calls because it is the chance that I get to speak and process my truth without having to put any filter on my thoughts or experience. Cathy does an amazing job of creating a judgement-free environment for our calls and I feel like I can totally be myself. She's highly adaptive to what it is that I need to get out of a call on a certain day and it feels so helpful to me to have her as a coach and accountability partner! The work I did with Cathy was invaluable to my job search. She has a gift for both tweaking the little details and helping me to focus on the big picture. She is great at providing encouragement, yet stretching her clients through gently challenging them. She is very nurturing, yet is adept at moving into a practical, no-nonsense ("New York Cathy") mode, and is good at recognizing which approach best serves the situation. In our sessions I felt valued and heard. Most importantly (at least to me), she provides perspective and context which helped to calm me down when I was feeling particularly anxious or vulnerable throughout the job search process.
