- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Whenever I'm hired for an event (Wedding Receptions, Parties, Dances) I ask the customer what kind of audience I'm playing for and if they have any specific songs or genres they would like me to play. This is invaluable information to know before walking into any gig, so if I'm playing for anything from a High School dance to a Country family's wedding, I can acquire music beforehand that's either censored and family friendly or music strictly for square dancing.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I grew up very well-rounded in all of the Classic Dance Music and Hip-Hop that everybody knows, and I also know the songs that everyone has grown tired of along the way. In the past few years, Electronic Dance Music has been a very big interest of mine not just because I like to listen to it, but because of the immense and emotional energy it creates on the dance floor.
