Introduction

I have been studying yoga for 15 years and have been teaching for 6 years. I am a professional who takes pride in providing the best possible yoga instruction to my students. This does not mean extreme, super difficult poses! I am careful to respect individual differences, strengths, and limitations. I modify poses to meet individual needs, and can increase difficulty when appropriate for the student. I follow the advice given by David Swenson in the Teacher Training Class I took from him, encouraging students to progress at their own pace. I also work with individuals who are experiencing issues due to a variety of situations, including those who have had surgery, chemotherapy, scoliosis, diabetes, plantar fascitis, sciatica, etc. Practicing yoga with me provides a foundation on which to grow. People appreciate the personal attention I give to each student. My students' comments guide me to provide the best instruction for them. By listening and getting to know my students, I am able to tell that I am making a positive difference in their lives. Positive feedback from my students lets me know that I am working in the right field.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is subject to agreement and depends on distance I travel, what setting and materials are or are not provided by client, the number of participants and the length of the class and/or number of classes I am being asked to teach. Group classes are usually $10 per participant. Private instruction costs more and depends on service requested.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I respond to inquiries on Thumbtack and provide phone and email for ease of further contact and planning. After a plan or job is agreed upon, I follow up with an additional confirming email containing details that were agreed upon.
