We moved to NC from NY state at the beginning of the year and needed to find a new tax preparer. Laurie spent time to talk through the details of our return and multiple forms. I like that I can trust we'll have one person working on our taxes from start to finish. She made an effort to get to know me, and made the whole process quite enjoyable. She cares about what she's doing; she's good at it, and it shows. Her price is very reasonable. She's very buttoned up and professional but also personable. I appreciated getting to know her and found her very reliable. She answered my questions, met our agreed deadlines, and even welcomed my preschoolers in her office when they needed to be with me at one of our appointments. We plan to use Laurie again next year!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master in accounting and finance. I have been working in the financial field for over 30 yrs specializing in tax accounting. I am registered with the IRS as a tax practitioner. I am up to date on the current tax laws for individual and business taxes.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I enjoy working with individuals and small business to get the most deductions allowed. I also help small businesses set up accounting procedures that will work for their particular needs.
