- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our flooring installation and refinishing services are generally priced by the square foot, with pricing based on the type of flooring, scope of work, jobsite conditions and project size. Additional services such as demolition, floor preparation, stairs, transitions and specialty work are priced separately as needed. We provide free estimates, review the scope of work and pricing with each customer, and have an approved estimate/contract signed before work begins so everyone understands exactly what is included.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by discussing the project, scheduling an on-site estimate and reviewing the customer's goals, flooring options and budget. We measure the space, inspect jobsite conditions and provide a detailed estimate. Once approved, we schedule the work, coordinate materials and complete the project with attention to quality, cleanliness and communication.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have more than 35 years of hands-on experience and training in the flooring industry, including hardwood installation and refinishing, custom staircases, LVP/LVT, laminate, carpet, tile, custom showers, concrete coatings and polishing. We are members of the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) and follow its industry guidelines for hardwood flooring installation, sanding and refinishing. We are WAKOL / LOBA certified and trained in professional flooring installation and finish systems, as well as Bona certified, and we are EPA certified. We also follow recognized North American tile industry standards and manufacturer specifications for our tile installations.
