- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1 hour minimum handyman service charge. Carpet cleaning pricing is approximately .25c per square foot. Stain removal is included, unless excessive stains (in number or area) are present. carpet cleaning has a $100 minimum charge. Moving furniture is not included in the pricing. Some fabrics & materials are especially sensitive to stains, moisture, and cleaning agitation - as a result we do not clean wool/viscose blend rugs, or microfiber upholstery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Lets review your Project List - over the phone or on site. Once we figure out the details, I’ll communicate the plan: what I’ll do, how I’ll do it, and we can discuss how to resolve any surprises or challenges that may come up along the way. I would be happy to review the project with you upon completion.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
One of my first jobs in high school was carpet cleaning and providing property maintenance services. I enjoyed making things look nicer, and being able to see a clear difference in the BEFORE & AFTER of my projects. After I graduated, I started my own maintenance business. I didn’t have much money for advertising and marketing, so I made sure that my customers were happy, and would be able to provide great referrals.
