Alic and his team did a really wonderful job on our driveway and backyard project. We feel so grateful that we found him! We had a clay pit of a backyard and driveway that has been totally transformed. They were able to get our project done quickly and it looks great. He even said he would be returning in a couple weeks to ensure the stones are settling right and grass is growing properly. This shows his level of care and professionalism. Highly recommend.

I just met Alic a few weeks ago when he came to do an estimate on spring cleanup for my small lot in Montford. I was impressed then, and I am impressed today by the way in which he and his assistant completed the project. Alic is smart, organized, punctual, and very nice -- there was a feeling from the start that he was someone who could be trusted to do a great job. His rates were reasonable, and, when I asked, he was ready to point out details about my property that will help me take better care of it. Not only that, my property looks so much better already! Alic, the owner of AW Lawn Care and Landscaping, came to my house and we walked through my gardens and talked about the work I needed done. He asked smart questions indicating that he knew his business. I hired him and his two helpers to do a spring clean-up. They did leaf clean-up and hauled away what was left after mulching. I plan to have them come back to mulch walkways and then to mow every other week. I was very pleased with the job done.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
From the second I am notified about a potential client, I reach out to that client and get all the details about the job I can from yard size to frequency of work to small details to working out an affordable price estimate. I will then set up a time to meet the client and see the yard in person. Once me and the client set up a time that works for both of us, that client can expect me to show up 10-15 minutes early to the job.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing lawn care as a summer job while I was in college to make extra money. Fast forward a couple years and I have started a business to continue keeping clients yards look their best
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would tell the customer that they would need to be specific on what they want and what their yard looks like. Do they want leaf blowing, weed eating; do they want the grass clippings to be collected and if their grass is higher than 6in or if their lawn is on a steep incline or if it’s flat.
