FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the size of the aquarium, the condition of the system, and the type of care needed. Every tank is different, so I don’t use one size fits all pricing. I focus on proper assessment, water quality, and long term stability rather than quick fixes. Estimates are always discussed up front so there are no surprises, and I’m happy to explain what’s needed and why before any work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by listening and understanding the aquarium, the fish, and what concerns the owner most. From there, I assess water quality, equipment, stocking, and overall conditions. I explain what I’m seeing, what’s working, and what may be causing issues. Any recommendations are discussed clearly before moving forward. My goal is to create a stable, healthy aquarium that fits the owner’s home and routine, not just provide a one-time fix.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have formal training in freshwater aquarium care and continue my education through aquarist coursework, combined with years of hands on experience working with a wide range of freshwater aquariums. My focus is on water quality, fish behavior, and long term stability.
