I have a new puppy and I knew it was a little early to start really training him but I wanted to make sure that I was doing everything right and that I was teaching him and not discouraging him. Paul really helped put my mind at ease with just one phone call and one session. He taught me how to speak to my dog and correct my dog without saying no. I am hoping to continue training with Paul once Benny comes of age!

I've been looking for a dog trainer for my pit mastiff lad mix puppy that would be great not only for her but also for my family. He gave great at-home training advice while also being honest about the mistakes that I've been making at home to help improve the process of training her. The best trainer I've come across. Very glad I found him.

We have known Paul going on 2 years now and have used his services twice. Paul is an experienced trainer who is very knowledgeable and skilled in training all breeds of dogs. Paul is very passionate about his training and the dogs he works with.
We have 2 GSDs and Paul has trained both of them. Willow, our female, has been through 2 training sessions, 4 weeks per session, with Paul, basic obedience (sit, down, here, place) and advanced obedience training.
Leo has just finished up with his basic training session, also a 4 week session. Leo was like a loose bullet, non-stop. When he returned he was a different dog, very obedient and well mannered.
Paul did an exceptional job training both dogs, they obey the first command they are given. Anytime we have called Paul he has responded within minutes. Paul is just the best and we think a lot of him and our dogs love him too.

You've heard the phrase "actions speak louder than words". The fact that we are sending our 3rd dog to the dog professor should tell you what an amazing job Paul does. We could not be more pleased with the results. He is deeply knowledgable and very passionate about dogs. I wouldn't have a dog that hadn't been put through his obedience training. It's a night and day difference pre and post training. He's also true to the life time guarantee as we have called on Paul numerous times when new issues surfaced like our Boykin marking his territory when we brought in our new golden retriever pup. He counseled us on how to correct the issue. It was also beneficial to have his advice on the timing and breeder selection for our new puppy. He knew the personalities and temperament of our other dogs. Stella has made a wonderful addition to our family and just began her obedience training with Paul at 8 months old. We can't wait to have her back home. Toward the end of her training, her housemate Brody will join her so Paul can work with both at the same time before returning back home. Paul's training is worth every dollar! Trained dogs make happy dogs and even happier homes and families!!

I rescued a 90llb lab mix, Ringo. I believe he is 1-2 years old. Ringo had ZERO leash training when I got him. To my knowledge, he had never been walked on a leash at all. The first few weeks, I had to walk him with a flat collar and a harness that had two leashes connected to both. On our walks, he would put on the brakes, drag me through yards trying to chase squirrels, try to wiggle out of his collar, REFUSE to turn down certain streets - it was really tough. It was also extremely dangerous because I live near very busy roads with a lot of traffic. After just the first week of training, Ringo was noticeably better on his walks and it made our walks SO much more enjoyable. Fast forward to 4 weeks of training, he walks beside me and auto-sits before we cross main road. He no longer rushes in the door knocking me over or when I leave. Instead, he politely sits and waits for me to leave or enter first. Also, he walks very confidently with his head held high and a sashay in his step - its clear he is happier now that he has some structure. About the trainer: he is very knowledgeable and knows A LOT about dog behavior. He spends a lot of time with the dog AND owners answering questions and providing feedback/suggestions on what needs to be worked on. He will explain in detail why/what he is doing. He is extremely trust worthy and very communicative. It's also great to have someone like Paul to call on if I need help with Ringo because his training is for the life time of the dog.
