About Dr. Dar

Are you suffering in a relationship or marriage that is just not working? Are you a single who aspires to have a loving relationship or marriage? Are you a couple who is thinking of moving in together or getting married? Is communication your nemesis in your relationship?

You are not alone. Many people like you are looking for a normal relationship, not knowing they will never find it. You see, there is no such thing as a normal relationship. There is only what you have learned and experienced through others and what you desire that has led you to where you are right now.

You can create and choose what is normal for you and your life.
You can have a loving relationship.
You do not have to suffer with the one you are with.
You can communicate, be heard, be accepted, and be loved.
You can live together successfully.
You can have a long-lasting, loving marriage.

Let's think back for a moment to when you first learned to read a book or how to count. It was really hard at first, right? As you continued to figure it out, get more lessons, read some more, and practice, the better you got! That's how it works with love and relationships, too. Like me, you too can learn relationship and communication skills that will overflow your love bank for a lifetime.

It is my utmost pleasure to be your partner in achieving your relationship goals. Whether your desire is to find love, move in together, get married, solve relationship problems, improve communication, eliminate conflict, or enhance your relationship, do take me up on my offer of a no-cost strategy session to determine the best option for you, even if the best option is to refer you to another service provider or provide you with some reading resources.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure you feel comfortable and can be open with and trust your service provider. Are you looking for results and solutions or just to vent? Be clear about what you need and want from your engagement. Finally, do ensure they have a confidentiality policy.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. * Ensure your service provider does not have their own agenda or judgments
* Is it important for you to work with someone who walks their talk? (i.e. would you want someone who is divorced to coach you on having a healthy marriage?)
* How established are they in their business and community - years of experience, education, etc.
* Does their credibility come through when you interview them about their services?
* Did you come away having learned something new after meeting with them?

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. * What is your approach?
* How do you work with your clients?
* How are you different from traditional service providers?
* Are your relationships healthy and how so?
* Are you currently working with a Coach? If not, why?
* What is your relationship status? (Are they walking their talk?)
