FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no money required up front. If I take your case, my fee and any expenses incurred on your behalf will be taken out of the final settlement offered from the insurance company.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial intake that is about 10 questions and if your case is accepted, you are set up with an appointment to meet with an attorney. All of our clients meet with the attorney for the first meeting. It is never relegated to a paralegal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my law degree, I took an exam to receive a certification as a Workers' Compensation Specialist. I am also required through the N.C. Bar to take a certain amount of C.L.E. (Continued Legal Education) classes each year.
