Great job refreshing my home to look modern, bright and clean! It makes everything look fresh and new. I was given a nice choice of colors and we discussed what would look best based on my lifestyle and decor. I would definitely recommend Natalie's Niche!

Wow! I absolutely love what she did to my master bath. I kind of had an idea, but when I was able to hire Natalie, she came in and did an amazing job. Not only were her decorating and painting skills unbelievable, she was very professional and kind at the same time. I feel lucky to have come across her business profile and to have chosen her to paint and decorate my bathroom. You don't come across people like Natalie everyday. Thats for sure!! I highly recommend Natalie's Nitché to anyone who is looking for a professional, unique, and highly skilled -interior decorater. Natalie saw my place and gave me a quote and promised to be finished by a certain date. I gave her unlimited access to my place but on the day the work was supposed to be done she was only maybe 1/5 finished. She claimed she was finished except for one room but none of the doors, door frames, or ceiling trim were done in any rooms. She also brought a ‘friend’ with her to the worksite who left cigarettes and urine in the toilet. He was very invasive and as a single woman i felt very uncomfortable with him. When I told her I was uncomfortable with him she never responded. Unfortunately I had her stop working due to her slow pace, unprofessionalism, and poor work quality. I was able to finish the project myself with better quality in a shorter amount of time. She was paid for the amount of work she did.

First of all, I was not given the full amount of time on any of those days to complete the long list of items to be painted. Second, I called in help, per myself paying, not additional labor to her. He assisted in painting ceilings and said very little to her. We were both very professional and never disrespected her or her property. within the 2days of working ( which completion date was 14th, meaning I should have been able to work till end of business day at least) I completed bedroom 2, bathroom 2, dining & living room, kitchen and laundry. There was very little left to touch up or complete that is why the job seemed so easy for her. I had done all the hard parts...and I even got paint for her. which at first she did not want me to pay me for it. when all said and done she paid me $200 for a job that should have been $1000. Don't forget the fee I paid for lead...more like $140. Insulting. I did learn a valuable lesson...get down payment or deposit first!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price fair. I don't overcharge anyone. I know my work is quality so I am not going to low ball myself. with that being said I charge $1/square foot. or $300 base price/ 1room. every situation is different and I am willing to work with the customer on pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to see their time frame and what they have visioned. Possibly come to the job site or their home, which helps to give a better estimate of cost and time. This way we can all be on the same page. (very important to me) From there I will just get the job done and hassle free for the customer!!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy painting of all kinds. I am an artist at heart so I like doing faux finishes and custom design. But I will paint anything. I started many moons ago in Atlanta doing custom work with my friends business. Then moved to Charlotte and bartended for years. Covid happened and came back to painting.
