We have had our first lesson with Anna and it was very comfortable and well paced. It was nice to have someone that made us feel comfortable and was able to adapt to both our skill levels. Having the flexibility to have private lessons allowed my husband and I to relax and not be self conscious in a group setting.

Anna is an amazing dancer AND instructor! I've purchased group and private lessons in Salsa and Bachata from her and she is so professional, personable, knowledgeable and patient. She takes the time to understand you and cater to your learning style and needs. As a follower, she strives to eliminate our need to anticipate the lead's next move, which is an absolute essential in these types of dances. I was so guilty of this sin when I first came to her, but she broke me of that habit and I've become much more relaxed and spontaneous, and thereby, that much of a better dancer! And for that, I owe it all to her! She also pushes you out of your comfort zone (very gently and steady, of course) to get you to the next level! And instead of blindly copying someone else's moves, she encourages and helps you to develop your own unique style so that you get your chance to shine on the dance floor and leave an impression on other dancers, so that they may remember you and come back for seconds! You will NOT just be another "good" dancer in the club. You will become that amazing SOMEONE in the club. She is such a caring and humble soul. She really invests in you and your evolution as a dancer. She takes the time to listen to you and help set goals for you so that you can meet it, and actually improve! On top of that, she teaches dance because she loves it, and wants to share this passion with you. She doesn't do it for the money! She accidentally overcharged me once and later texted me to give me a refund/credit...when she could've just kept quiet. You don't meet that many honest people nowadays. And when she went on maternity leave, she encouraged me to continue dancing and seek out OTHER instructors. Most others wouldn't even dare suggest looking at anyone else for fear of losing students (and thereby, income)! You can't really ask for a better instructor who has your best interest at heart. And to top it off, she's a badass dancer with a lot sass when she hits the floor! I know she encourages me to find my own style, but if I ever want to copy and emulate anyone's style, it would be her's because she just owns it without being pretentious!

Private lesson is $75 for 1 hour, Discount if you buy a package. Also give referral perks.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to find out what the main goal is and if there are any side goals. Then I find out what experience and current ability student has. Afterwards I plan what is required to get you to your goal as soon as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a dance degree, and I have studied under many world renown dancers. I have been to conventions, masterclasses, certification workshops and have experience in social dancing for many years.
