At One Eleven Wedding Photography, we focus on a photojournalist style of photography creating timeless images that tell the story of the day. We do spend time capturing the more posed family, bridal, and couples portraits, but the bulk of the day is centered on capturing the moments, feelings and emotions as the day unfolds. One Eleven Studios has also expended into Real Estate Photography, helping agents bring customers in to see their listings with excitement. As with weddings, each home has a story to tell. Professional photography can help bring this to life for your clients. I truly love photographing weddings. The days are filled with love, smiles, and emotion. Each wedding is unique and different allowing me to be creative and grow as a photographer. Unlike portrait sessions, weddings tell a storya story of family, love, and a new beginning. But most of all, I love to see the reactions when couples receive their final images, knowing that what I created will allow their day to live on forever.

We recently had our engagement session with Shannon in Wake Forest, NC. Shannon was absolutely fantastic! She was truly able to capture the most beautiful, natural moments in the hour we spent with her. She made the session fun, enjoyable and even got our album back to us in under a week. I would use Shannon again and again and will absolutely call her for any future desired photo sessions! She will not disappoint.

My wedding day was windy, rainy and cold but Shannon and her second shooter managed to not make any of our pictures reflect that. They captured the entire day with every detail from beginning to end and even managed to get almost every wedding guest in the pictures as well. I'm so happy with how everything turned out, especially with the weather, and I've already had a couple of engaged friends ask about her after seeing my photos.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography is a field that is always growing and changing and staying up to date with the latest techniques and technology is vital. I recently attended an amazing workshop with one of the top wedding photographers in the world. A small group of 20 photographers gathered from around the country to work side by side with this industry icon. I strive to attend as many of these types of workshops as possible to continue my growth as a photographer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your wedding photographer is the vendor you will spend the most time with on your day. Be sure you like their personality in addition to their photography style.
