I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Naessens Construction and the owner Jay Naessens was wonderful. From the first moment of contact to the very end of the project, Jay was courteous, professional and creative. I called originally for new tile flooring, but once the project started we ran into some issues with the joists and underlayment being soft and even termites! Jay quickly came up with options for completing the job economically and permanently. He even got an exterminator out to the house within 24 hours so that we didn't have to have the floor open longer than necessary. Some of the decking that was connected also needed replacing and a new door installed. He did a great job, completing the work very quickly. I am so pleased with my new tiled floor!! I will not hesitate to hire Naessens Construction again in the future and would highly recommend to both friends and family. He even cleaned up after himself everyday before he left - what man does that??

When I mentioned I wanted my kitchen backsplash tiled, a colleague turned me on to Thumbtack, and I'm SO glad she did! I posted my need and James responded immediately with a fair estimate. He stopped in to see the space, stood by his estimate, and we set up a date for the work. At the get go, James and Joe impressed me by laying down cloth tarps, from my front door to my kitchen, so as not to dirty my floor, they worked efficiently, were kind and courteous, and left my kitchen spotless. The end result is my kitchen looks lovely and I couldn't be happier! I trust James and his wealth of experience and resources and he has been instrumental in other projects I've had done since. The Naessens' website says you're treated like family... and I can personally attest to that. Highly recommended!
