Brian worked with me to upgrade my home network to support multi-gig service. The job required connecting to a new fiber drop, running several hundred feet of new Cat 6a ethernet cabling to four difffrent areas of the house, installing new jacks and wall plates, mounting a new wall-mount server rack, and installing network components including gateways and switches into the rack. I rent this house, but needed the upgrades for work. I needed the work to be done quickly but also as low-visibility as possible...when I inevitably leave this house, I can't leave dangling cables and extra holes everywhere. Brian worked with me extensively prior to the installation to make a plan, ensure we had all the correct network components, and coordinated schedules with the ISP and their contract installers, all while dealing with significant winter weather disruptions. He showed up on time, did the work as promised, and made sure I was happy with each step of the installation before moving on. He spent all day and all evening getting it right, and because he's a personable guy, we had good conversation throughout the day...no awkward silence. Brian is a great guy who does great work, and I'm completely satisfied with my new network. I have no reservation recommending Brian and Carolina SmartHome Solutions for similar jobs. 10/10 do recommend.

Carolina SmartHome Solution did an excellent job installing two Ring cameras at my home. The technician was professional, on time, and clearly experienced. Both cameras were mounted securely, positioned perfectly, and the wiring was done clean and neat with great attention to detail. They tested everything, made sure both cameras were working properly, and explained the setup before wrapping up. The work looks professional—not rushed—and blends well with the home. If you need smart home or security camera installation done right, I highly recommend Carolina SmartHome Solution. I would definitely use them again.

Brian was amazing. He was on time as scheduled. Did full follow ups and provided all valuable suggestions about the security cameras we needed to install. Really reasonable on prices and provide flat rate pricing to on camera type etc. I would definitely recommend him and would take his services again for such needs.

Brian Ricci of Carolina Smart Home Solutions arrived right in time. He was friendly and respective and walked me through what he would be testing. He noticed right away that I had Google equipment that is outdated and suggested, pending further evaluation, that I contact Google for an updated Google fiber jack (and that the send it with a technician to install it). After spending 2 hours fixing some wiring issues and back hauling 2 of the Google mesh routers, he made sure everything was working. So far, the work he did has shown improvements, but told me to reach out to him if I still had issues. I wholeheartedly would recommend him.
