FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flat-rate pricing, quoted before we start - you approve the number before any work begins. No trip charges or hidden fees on the invoice. TV mounting: packages from $129, up to $599 for Premium. Cable concealment is quoted based on your wall type. Buy your TV from us and the mounting is free. Remote virus removal: $149 flat, including a 1-year antivirus license (Bitdefender or ESET). The only discounts we offer are bundle savings - for example, buying your TV from us with mounting, or a mount with a soundbar and cable concealment. Remote sessions are paid up front, before the session begins. Onsite work is billed when the job is complete. We take credit card, cash, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with questions: what the device is doing, when it started, what changed recently, and whether anything on it needs backing up first. Then we diagnose, tell you what we found, and give you a firm price. Nothing gets done until you approve it. If we're handling it remotely, payment is collected in advance once you approve the price, and then we schedule the session and send you the connection details. Onsite jobs are billed on completion. When the work is finished we test it with you and confirm it's actually working before we leave or end the session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've been doing this professionally since 2016, and our technicians learn this trade the way it's actually learned — on real hardware, across thousands of jobs. Between us that covers hardware repair and component-level diagnosis, Windows and macOS troubleshooting, malware removal, network configuration and cabling, and low-voltage installation. We stay current on security threats and operating-system changes deliberately, because the failure modes shift every year: what fixed a slow machine five years ago isn't what fixes one now.
